Public Source · React 19 + TypeScript · Synthetic Simulation
Operator-oriented interface design using synthetic scenarios only.
A public-source React 19 and TypeScript portfolio simulation exploring how wildfire aviation status views, synthetic resource-allocation scenarios, and dependency-aware workflows can share one operator-oriented interface.
Portfolio simulation only. All operational data is synthetic. There is no CAL FIRE, USFS, DoD, CAD, AFF, or IRWIN affiliation or live connection. The 16.5-minute and 20-minute values are configurable scenario parameters, not universal mandates.

Project overview / prototype and build details

The Problem
Wildfire operations concepts involve dense status, resource, and dependency information. The portfolio challenge was to explore an operator-oriented interface without presenting synthetic scenarios as agency data, policy, or a live operational connection.
The Build
Canvas 2D powers the geospatial portfolio view, with ten icon classes used to distinguish simulated resources and incidents.
DAG orchestration exposes configurable stages and their dependencies so a reviewer can follow the simulated workflow rather than infer a hidden pipeline.
WebSocket collaboration is implemented for the portfolio simulation while every operational value and scenario remains synthetic.
The documented release passed 30/30 Vitest tests, completed TypeScript checking with zero errors, and completed a successful Vite production build.
The Outcome
A public-source portfolio simulation with verified test, typecheck, and build results. It is not dispatch, flight following, incident command, or a live agency system; its 16.5-minute baseline and 20-minute threshold remain configurable scenario parameters.
